December 2010

I started off the fun month of December at "Cookies and Castles" with Jill, Esther, Hilary, Whitney, and Emily!! It's a gingerbread decorating fundraiser for Cook Children's Oncology unit (where I used to work as a nurse). It's always a blast and this year I had enough girls to fill a table!! Thanks girls, I hope you had as much fun as I did. If you want to join us next year let me know!!

Charlie got a real Tonka truck from us for Christmas. He LOVED taking rides in it while his Daddy and uncles pushed him around the room. He's a little rotten when we are all together in Kerrville because he has 7 adults giving him ALL the attention!! :) But still a SWEET little rotten booger.

November 2010 (a little late)

First off.... I'm so sorry it's taken me forever to post!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would say that for about a month the blog world was giving me a hard time... and the rest of the time I was just busy and didn't sit down to update (basically just being lazy). This month is super out of order, sorry.

So here goes:

My Granny sent these little cowboy Santas to Charlie and Izzie for Christmas. This was Charlie's first reaction (below).... well, it grew on him and he quickly became obsessed. So we played it all the time for the month of December and wore him out so much that he doesn't play music/dance anymore. Overall we had a wonderful, blessed Thanksgiving holiday!!

Remember this sweet Christmas picture from last year? Well, our bear was a little tired and fussy this year so we go the "classic picture with Santa"...

He wouldn't let go of his lovie for the picture and his pants are hiked up a little...

13 months old and walking!

Super behind on updates... sorry! Well at 13 months Charlie started walking!!!!! His first steps were at my parents' house over Thanksgiving break. He is still a little hesitant but he's getting the hang of it. Last week he was feeling a little adventurous and fell on a little shelf at daycare and got his first black eye. His teacher said he cried for a few minutes and then was back to playing in the same area in no time. This week he moved to TODDLER classroom! Can you believe it? He's growing up sooo fast!!!

His vocabulary consists of: duuh (duck), dough (dog), dada, cack cack cack (quack quack quack), da (that), dih (this). Are you seeing a trend? :)

He got 3 more teeth this month too! Two of them are molars!!!
