May was such a fun, fun month! Even though the temperature kept going up, I still LOVE me some summertime!!

North Texas had a huge hail storm blow through (actually while we were at church) and a lot of people had some serious hail damage... we lost this big tree in our backyard! Bummer!!

For Mother's Day, all I asked for was to sleep in and breakfast in bed. Done. After playing in the backyard we headed to take a ride on the Forest Park mini train. Charlie was in heaven and completely mesmerized!!

My mom's group (from church) decided to just have fun outings this summer and then start back this fall with another book. We started out with a bang!! (and we invited some friends to come too) Jill planned a really fun night at A Piece of Work. We brought our own snacks and wine, Jill picked a painting, we had a teacher, they provided the canvas and paints in our fee, and they taught us how to paint the picture!! I think it was a copy of a Van Gogh Starry Cafe or something like that. We had such a fun time!!

We went to Kerrville for Memorial Day weekend and then went out Saturday night to a dear family friend's wedding in San Antonio. Meredith and Cade had such a fun wedding and we had a great time being together. Gary and Wendy with three of the four boys. We missed you, Andrew!!! (Carson, Landon and Justus)
