Surgery: Ear tubes

When Charlie started daycare in August, he had an ear infection for about a month. After 4 different antibiotics, he finally felt better. I looked in his ears and could see that they were still full of fluid. He also kept pulling at his ears everyday and shaking his head like he wanted to get something out. While I was at work, I asked one of the ENTs if he could get Charlie in to see if he needed ear tubes... long story short, yes, he needed them. The benefit of my job is I was able to have the best care ever!! All of my sweet co-workers took GREAT care of our sweet baby. Here he is at his pre-op visit with my friend, Tracey, looking like a happy little chipmunk!!
On the day of surgery and probably starving to death
Playing with the toys in the playroom (you can also see where he bit his lip the day before)
On our way home, sucking his thumb and holding his lovie... happy boy!
Doctor said his ears were full of nasty, thick mucous. Carson and I agree that we can tell a difference in him and know that he feels much better!!
